An 80-year-old granny from Hong Kong came with her daughter who's on a business trip. Saw her putting on a winter coat and a beanie yesterday, bag clamped in between her knees, handled everything smoothly and went straight out for local breakfast in the neighborhood, that was actually her first time in this area. Saw her again this morning taking a cab, all by herself.
We met in the afternoon, greeted. Granny said she went on a 4-hours stroll on Nanjing East Road and it was fun, we chatted even more and she said she's been doing this in Paris, London, Berlin and many other different cities whenever her daughter is at work.
Cute granny is so petite, doesn't even reach my shoulders but has such courage and bravery.
I think I found my idol already.
